New details have shed light on Samsung’s next high-profile novelties in the flexible screen category. The South Korean corporation is preparing to present the latest Samsung Galaxy Fold8 and Samsung Galaxy Fold Wide models in the coming months. The latest reports indicate that this time, several mobile devices will be demonstrated to the public at once.
According to the published data, Samsung plans to hold its next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22, 2026. It is expected that the brand will show a trio of foldable devices, including Galaxy Flip8, Galaxy Fold8, and a variation of Galaxy Fold8 Wide.

The Galaxy Fold8 modification will delight you with improved battery life and new photo modules. The appearance of the smartphone will generally repeat the features of its predecessor. The body thickness in the open state at the thinnest point will be approximately 4.1 mm, and the total weight of the device will barely exceed 210 g. The display dimensions will also remain unchanged: users will get a 6.5-inch external screen and an 8-inch main internal panel.
The device will be powered by the same processor as the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, namely the high-frequency Snapdragon 8 Ultimate for Galaxy from Qualcomm.

The most significant hardware transformations have affected the batteries and photographic capabilities. The main camera lens will retain a resolution of 200 megapixels, while the ultra-wide-angle sensor will be upgraded to 50 megapixels. Both selfie modules will have the same resolution of 10 megapixels. The battery capacity will increase from 4400 mAh to 5000 mAh. The wired charging power will increase from 25 W to 45 W, which will solve the problem that caused the greatest dissatisfaction among the owners of the previous version.
In turn, the Galaxy Fold Wide model offers an alternative view of the concept of folding gadgets. Samsung is developing this variant with a 7.6-inch internal screen that will have a 4:3 aspect ratio to make it more similar to conventional tablets.

This version will have a 50-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, but will not have a telephoto lens. Power will be provided by a 4,800 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support, and the entire device will weigh about 200 g.
