vivo has officially begun conquering the over-the-ear audio segment. Yesterday, the brand announced its first wireless headphones equipped with active noise cancellation technology. This release follows the launch of the vivo S60 series of smartphones, as well as the new TWS 5e fully wireless in-ear headphones.
The new device features a sleek design, a light weight of 238 g, and the ability to support simultaneous pairing with three different devices, making it an attractive choice for users who regularly switch between computer, tablet, and mobile phone during the workday. The financial cost of the device has not yet been approved, as the full list of information will be made public during today’s special event.

The main aspects of the upcoming event indicate that the official launch of the first vivo over-the-ear ANC headphones in the Chinese market is scheduled for May 29, where they will be presented together with the vivo S60 family of phones and the compact TWS 5e, with the pre-order stage already activated.
As already mentioned, the product weighs 238 g and is equipped with large soft ear cushions. The color scheme consists of two variants: pure white and delicate purple, and the overall concept is focused on minimalism and convenience while traveling. The technical component includes a 40 mm dynamic emitter and a proven system of active noise cancellation, as well as a multipoint function for three signal sources, which provides instant switching between PC, smartphone and tablet.
Preliminary promotional materials indicate the integration of 360-degree surround sound technology and support for high-resolution audio standards, and the Bluetooth module itself guarantees compatibility with various operating systems.
This step marks the manufacturer’s move beyond the familiar TWS format, as vivo has previously gained credibility in the audio field exclusively through compact models, including TWS 2, TWS 3e, and the recently released TWS 5i. The creation of full-size devices requires completely different design solutions, including the use of larger membranes, a more complex architecture for noise isolation, and special ergonomics that are not required for in-ear models.

The stylistic solution captured in the first images demonstrates a smooth headband arc and voluminous bowls with soft filling without any signs of a gamer or pronounced audiophile orientation.
vivo emphasizes the cross-platform compatibility of these headphones, so they will function seamlessly in Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS environments. The TWS 5e model, which debuts at the same time, offers a 55-decibel noise cancellation system and a total battery life of up to 55 hours, acting as a more affordable alternative to in-ear headphones.
