In addition, the service offers other benefits, the main one being a free YouTube Music Premium subscription. And now the company is taking another step forward – soon, some users will gain access to Peacock Premium as part of their subscription.

Peacock Premium will be included with a YouTube Premium subscription in the U.S. This applies to the ad-supported Peacock plan, which normally costs $10.99 per month. Users will gain access to popular TV shows, movies, and even live sports broadcasts. Overall, this can be considered a significant perk, especially since there’s no extra charge for it.
If you’re not very familiar with Peacock, it’s worth checking out its library. The service offers a wide selection of content, including popular series currently airing, such as ‘The Day of the Jackal’, as well as well-known classics, including ‘The Office’, ‘Parks and Recreation,’ ‘Community,’ and ‘Yellowstone.’

YouTube announced that this feature will be available soon – CEO Neal Mohan mentioned “early 2027” on his Twitter page. Although the new feature looks very appealing, we can only hope that the launch of the new package won’t lead to yet another subscription price hike. The previous price increase occurred just last month, when subscription rates in the U.S. rose by $4 per month.

For those looking to save money, the YouTube Premium Lite subscription is available for $9 per month. Its main difference is that it does not include ad-free access to YouTube Music. In addition, ads may still appear while watching videos, although much less frequently. This plan also allows you to download videos and play them in the background. However, this feature is not available for all videos.
The text also includes an important clarification: only accounts that “meet certain requirements” will receive access to Peacock Premium. Therefore, it’s safe to assume that YouTube Premium Lite subscribers will most likely not have access to this benefit.
