Blackview has added to its range of rugged devices – the company has unveiled the ROCK 5 smartphone, designed for use in all conditions and scenarios. It is aimed at those who need a rugged body, high level of autonomy and reliable communication, as well as fans of active or even extreme recreation.
The ROCK 5 gets a 5W Hi-Fi stereo speaker that delivers louder and richer sound than standard rugged smartphones, and a 348 lumens camping light with SOS mode. With IP68/IP69K certifications and MIL-STD-810H military standard compliance, the smartphone will withstand drops, dust, rain and high-pressure water. It is capable of operating in a temperature range of -20°C to 60°C.
Blackview has used the largest ever 20,000mAh battery in the ROCK 5 and with it, the smartphone will withstand up to 2,280 hours of standby time and up to 23 hours of continuous navigation. It supports 33W fast charging and 5W reverse charging.

On the front, the smartphone has a 6.78-inch display with 2.4K resolution, adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz and brightness up to 700 nits. Even in direct sunlight, navigation and content on the screen remain clear and easy to read. Widevine L1 certification provides support for 1080P HD video streaming.
The ROCK 5 features a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM6 main sensor with 8x zoom for detailed long-range shots, a 50MP front camera for selfies and video calls, and a 20MP infrared night vision camera that will capture photos in near total darkness.
The 8-core MediaTek Helio G100 processor is responsible for the performance. The smartphone supports RAM expansion up to 48GB and has 256GB of flash storage, which can also be expanded up to 2TB thanks to a TF memory card. The 10444 mm² cooling system ensures stable performance during gaming, navigation and heavy loads.
The ROCK 5 runs the new Android 16-based DokeOS 5.0 – it is optimized for smoother interaction and privacy and supports AI features. With the integration of Hi Doki AI assistant and multi-model AI system Doke AI 2.0 (DeepSeek-R1 / ChatGPT-4o mini / Gemini AI 2.0), the smartphone offers smart voice control and fast interaction. It will receive system updates for 3 years.
Other specs include NFC, 4G support, dual SIM, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2 for stable connectivity. The ROCK 5 is already available on AliExpress, and it will be available for purchase from May 18 to May 22 for prices starting at $239.99.
