IQUNIX has announced two special versions of the EV63 gaming keyboard, designed in the style of the cult cyberpunk franchise Ghost in the Shell. The new products are called IQUNIX EV63 Shell Core and EV63 Cyber Blue. Both models are part of a series of ultra-compact 60% Hall-effect magnetic keyboards aimed at e-sports and shooters like Valorant. The company uses the EV slogan – Easy Victory – and emphasizes ultra-low input latency, fast key response, and professional features for competitive gaming.

Technically, the new products repeat the characteristics of the flagship EV63, which is reviewed on our website at this link. The keyboards support a polling frequency of 8000 Hz, a scanning frequency of 16000 Hz, Rapid Trigger technology with sensitivity of up to 0.01 mm and an input delay of up to 0.125 ms. However, both models are equipped with Nova Switch switches, unlike other versions that have Magnetic X Pro and Magnetic X Ultra switches.

IQUNIX pays special attention to the new HyperCore V3 firmware. According to the company, it provides more stable operation of switches with the Hall effect, improved predictability of presses, and automatic adaptation to different types of magnetic switches. And, of course, high speed. After the upgrade to HyperCore V3, the EV63 keyboard demonstrates the highest performance in all latency tests:
- Response latency: 0.29-0.30 ms
- Release delay: 0.26-0.27 ms.

One of the key updates in HyperCore V3 is the Smart Switch Adaptation feature. This is an industry-first feature from IQUNIX that makes the keyboard “smart” by automatically recognizing 99% of popular switches. The manufacturer wants to make hot-swapping and switching switches as seamless as possible in terms of both software and hardware, so that users don’t have to worry about whether a new switch will work correctly with their keyboard.

Additional features of the EV63 include support for SOCD 2.0, Dynamic Keystroke, Mod Tap, Rappy Snappy, and a system for quickly switching between gaming and office profiles without opening software.

The model has a “fur” design and an anodized aluminum body with a decorative forged carbon fiber insert. The inserts decorate the front and sides, giving the devices a distinctive look and unique texture. No pattern is repeated, so it can be said that no two EV63s are alike.

The IQUNIX EV63 Shell Core and EV63 Cyber Blue models are available for sale from today and can be purchased both on the brand’s official website and on Amazon.
