Grand Theft Auto VI is set to be released in just a few months, but Sony and Rockstar already have some good news for fans of the game. The companies unveiled two limited-edition DualSense wireless controllers designed in the style of the upcoming game. The controllers were shown during the State of Play livestream, where the company unveiled two versions at once – Black and White.
As expected, the design of the controllers shows a significant influence from Vice City, with each of the two controllers seemingly capturing the atmosphere of different parts of the fictional city. Both versions feature a shimmering finish that shifts in color, as well as interesting embossed palm tree details. It seems the designers decided that simply putting the GTA VI logo on the device wasn’t enough to make the controller “themed,” so they added some additional details.

The white controller is meant to capture the atmosphere of Vice City by day. The design of this version is inspired by beaches, clear skies, and the overall vibe of rest and relaxation. In contrast, the black model creates the opposite mood, as it draws inspiration from the nighttime energy of Vice City and its neon-lit streets. Once Grand Theft Auto VI is released, players will be able to take advantage of the DualSense’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Sony notes that these features will respond to on-screen events and provide dynamic resistance, effectively allowing players to feel as if they’re in the shoes of the main characters, Jason and Lucia.

Both controllers will go on sale on November 19 – the same day GTA VI is scheduled for release – but quantities will be limited, so fans of the game who want to add them to their collection will need to act quickly.

Pre-orders begin on September 10 in several countries, including the U.S., the U.K., France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, and others. The black controller will be sold through PlayStation Direct where the service is available, while the white version will be available at select retailers. It’s worth noting that availability and pricing may vary by country. In the U.S., the controllers will retail for $84.99; in Europe, they will cost approximately €84.99; and in the UK, they will be priced at £74.99.
