During IFA 2026, it was announced that Lenovo and Motorola Qira are expanding their presence to an increasing number of devices, applications, and markets, thereby bringing Lenovo’s personal AI technology to a broader ecosystem of devices.
Support is being extended to compatible PCs with 16 GB of RAM, making the technology accessible not only to configurations with larger amounts of memory. In the coming months, support will expand to compatible Motorola devices as they are updated to Android 17, including select models from the edge, signature, and razr series. In addition, it will be integrated into the moto watch ultra smartwatch, which will be the first accessory to support Lenovo and Motorola Qira.

Also announced during the conference was a new partnership between Lenovo and Workato, which expands the capabilities for integrated interaction with supported apps and services, including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Slack, Outlook Mail, and Outlook Calendar.

Since its launch earlier this year, the company has added Lenovo and Motorola Qira to more than 80 supported PC configurations across its commercial and consumer lines, as well as to select Motorola tablets and smartphones. Currently, Lenovo and Motorola Qira support six languages, and that number will continue to grow. By the end of the year, Lenovo plans to expand this capability to additional device families and form factors.
Lenovo and Motorola Qira were designed with the understanding that people rarely spend the entire day on a single device. Work and personal tasks shift from a PC to a smartphone, and an idea jotted down on a tablet can be developed on another device. Lenovo and Motorola Qira let you work across different devices thanks to prioritized notification aggregation, access to information from various devices, and the ability to perform actions through a single, unified interface.

Support for compatible PCs with 16 GB of RAM extends access to the technology beyond configurations with larger memory capacities, and further optimization of the local model strengthens the foundation of the device’s built-in AI. Users of compatible devices can download Lenovo and Motorola Qira from the Lenovo website.
Additionally, this feature will become available on compatible Motorola devices as they are updated to Android 17. The rollout will be gradual and will depend on the specific device and market. On supported devices where moto ai is currently available, the update to Android 17 will enable the use of Motorola Qira.
Lenovo and Motorola Qira will also be available on the moto watch ultra. Users will simply need to raise their wrist or say “Hey Qira” to ask a general question or access information from the AI knowledge base available across various devices. The idea is not to replicate the same AI interface on every screen, but rather to let each device fulfill the role for which it is best suited.

Thanks to Lenovo’s new partnership with Workato, Lenovo Qira can connect to supported apps and services – such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Slack, Outlook Mail, and Outlook Calendar – and help users find the information they need and take action. This creates a direct path from query to action. If a calendar event has changed or an update has appeared in an email or group chat, users don’t need to scroll through the entire history to find the information they need. They can quickly catch up on important updates using the “Catch Me Up” feature in Lenovo and Motorola Qira and take action directly from the Lenovo and Motorola Qira interface.

The Catch Me Up feature now generates summaries faster than before. In addition, the companies are now partnering with Notion and expanding Lenovo and Motorola Qira’s integration with Perplexity so that users can continue working on tasks that matter to them without switching between apps or devices. Users can connect their Notion account to edit projects and access information from them via Lenovo & Motorola Qira. And thanks to the expanded integration with Perplexity, they can conduct research and access visual references tailored to their needs.
