On March 2, 2026, at MWC Barcelona 2026, the innovative technology brand TECNO, actively developing AI solutions, showcased a focused expansion of its intelligent ecosystem. Our correspondent visited the company’s booth, explored the new devices firsthand, and spoke with brand representatives to gain an in-depth understanding of the product development concept and the strategy for further ecosystem scaling.

The highlights included new flagship smartphones, strategic collaborations, and updated AIoT devices. Under the concept Pioneering The Connection of Intelligence, TECNO focused on the CAMON 50 and POVA 8 series, its partnership with Tonino Lamborghini, and the development of interconnected smart products. This presentation format emphasizes the brand’s goal of delivering practical, high-performance AI solutions that seamlessly integrate personal technology with lifestyle.
“At MWC 2026, we are moving from demonstrating individual AI features to showcasing a fully integrated intelligent environment,” said TECNO General Manager Jack Guo. According to him, the real breakthrough lies not in individual devices, but in how they interact seamlessly with one another. The company is building an ecosystem capable of understanding users and adapting to their needs, establishing a new level of integration for intelligent technologies.

CAMON 50
The CAMON 50 series took center stage at the exhibition, marking a new phase in the development of TECNO’s mobile imaging solutions. The lineup combines professional-grade hardware with dedicated AI processing, redefining the approach to mobile photography.

The smartphones are powered by AI RAW 2.0. For the first time in the industry, they feature AI Auto Zoom, which automatically tracks subjects and adjusts the frame for optimal composition. Additionally, the Super-Zoom FlashSnap technology enables capturing fast-moving scenes even from a significant distance.

All models in the series feature a professional camera system with a 50 MP SONY LYTIA 700C Ultra Night main sensor. The Ultra 5G and Pro versions additionally include a 50 MP telephoto lens with 3× optical zoom and support for AI 60× SuperZoom. The CAMON 50 Ultra 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate processor, comes with a battery of up to 6500 mAh depending on the market, and offers the highest level of dust and water protection.
In addition to its photography and video features, the series includes an AI Art Gallery, an AI Image-to-Video Generator, a One-Tap FlashMemo, and an updated voice assistant, Ella, all integrated into the system to support everyday productivity. Sales of the TECNO Camon 50 have begun in Ukraine, providing a moderately priced option for users focused on camera performance and overall functionality. The Camon 50 Pro model is expected to arrive on the Ukrainian market soon, which will expand options within the mid-range segment and offer users AI-driven features for photo and video.

POVA 8
At the same time, the company introduced the POVA 8 series, focusing on performance and battery life. The flagship of the lineup, the POVA CURVE 2 5G, is equipped with the largest battery in the brand’s history at 8000 mAh, housed in a chassis measuring 7.42 mm in thickness.
The smartphone features a curved AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G processor. AI tools are integrated to optimize everyday usage scenarios, and the device design meets the IP64 protection standard. The battery is rated for up to six years of use, indicating a focus on device longevity.

Tonino Lamborghini TECNO TAURUS MEGA MINI G1 Pro
As part of a collaboration with Tonino Lamborghini, the Tonino Lamborghini TECNO TAURUS MEGA MINI G1 Pro was introduced, featuring a liquid cooling system.
It is the world’s smallest gaming mini-PC with a liquid cooling system, housed in a metal chassis.
The device is powered by an Intel Core i9 13900HK processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card with 8 GB of GDDR7 memory, delivering AI performance of 614 TOPS. Additionally, the POVA Metal Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition was introduced as the world’s first fully metal 5G smartphone with a unibody chassis based on the Snapdragon platform. The model features continuous curves, a rear Dot Matrix backlight, and a light pulse effect. The company also presented a Tonino Lamborghini–styled AIoT ecosystem concept, covering laptops, tablets, and wearable devices, extending the collaboration across multiple product categories.

Modular Magnetic Interconnection Technology
In addition to commercial products, TECNO showcased conceptual technologies. The Modular Magnetic Interconnection Technology introduces a magnetic system for interchangeable smartphone modules, including additional batteries and specialized lenses. The POVA Ecosystem illustrates an integrated gaming platform of the future, encompassing the POVA Metal, a gaming controller, and headphones within a unified design language.

The Edge-Side AIGC Preview Concept Technology, developed in collaboration with Arm, was also demonstrated. Its customized Style Transfer Preview technology uses algorithmic optimization to reduce flicker and image stutter, enabling real-time previews at 30 frames per second and smooth operation of the split viewfinder. The models are optimized for fully offline use on smartphones, maintaining artistic accuracy while providing stable performance suitable for daily use.
MEGABOOK
A particular focus was placed on the extensive update of TECNO’s AIoT ecosystem. The company presented an expanded device portfolio, new smart solutions, and deeper integration across its products.
The booth featured the current lineup of MEGABOOK laptops, positioned as the world’s lightest 14-inch OLED laptops and equipped with AI tools to enhance productivity and creative capabilities for professionals on the go. The upcoming MEGAPAD tablet, incorporating TECNO’s latest AI features, was also showcased.

Among the accessories, the TECNO True 2 and FreeHear 2 headphones, the Watch GT 1S smartwatch, and the AI Glasses smart eyewear were showcased.
With the enhanced OneLeap technology, devices within the ecosystem interact as a unified system, turning individual gadgets into a coordinated intelligent platform.
