After a long wait, The Division Resurgence is finally coming to iOS and Android on March 31. The project was first announced back in 2021, but the release has been repeatedly postponed in recent years.
The Division is a free-to-play mobile game set in The Division universe with an open, shared MMO-style world, featuring both cooperative and single-player modes. The plot is original and takes place in the first days of the pandemic in New York. In terms of the chronology of events, it is a sequel to Tom Clancy’s The Division, while the story precedes the events of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2.

The gameplay is in the format of a third-person role-playing action game with the possibility of PvP confrontation. The general game formula is close to the main parts of the series. Players can expect intense combat battles and a large number of trophies that can be collected to further improve their equipment.

Pre-registration is already open in the App Store and Google Play Store. Ubisoft has also prepared bonuses for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 players. Experienced members of the franchise will receive additional loot after the first launch of Resurgence, including equipment and clothing. Those who return to The Division 2 after exploring the mobile game will also be able to count on additional benefits, including Resurgence-style gear.
The release date was announced as part of the franchise’s 10th anniversary celebration. As part of this event, Ubisoft has introduced a season for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 dedicated to the anniversary, including global events inspired by the original game, as well as an in-game hoodie. In addition, the Warlords of New York expansion pack became free for this period and received a new update with a focus on more realistic combat mechanics.
Both Tom Clancy’s The Division and Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 are currently on sale with significant discounts of up to 90% on PC and up to 85% on PlayStation and Xbox. At the same time, today’s announcement didn’t reveal any new details about the recently unveiled Survivors DLC for The Division 2. Not much is known about it, except that it is described as an updated version of the survival extraction format.
