POCO has introduced a new addition to its mid-range lineup, the POCO M7. The device features a large-capacity battery, fast charging support, a 144 Hz adaptive display, and a distinct design. It is aimed at users who prioritize long battery life for calls, work tasks, and entertainment.
The standout feature of the POCO M7 is its 7000 mAh battery, one of the largest in its class. According to the manufacturer, the phone can deliver over 45 hours of talk time, more than 25 hours of video playback, or around 12 hours of gaming. The battery supports 33 W fast charging and 18 W reverse charging, allowing the device to function as a power bank for other gadgets. Charging optimization algorithms are also included to extend battery lifespan and maintain performance over long-term use.
The POCO M7 is powered by the Snapdragon 685, a 6 nm processor designed to balance performance and power efficiency. Memory can be expanded virtually up to 16 GB, which helps improve multitasking and app loading times. The display supports refresh rates up to 144 Hz with AdaptiveSync technology, which automatically switches between 60, 90, and 144 Hz depending on the task to provide smoother visuals while conserving battery life.
The POCO M7 features a 6.9-inch FHD+ display with rounded corners. It includes eye protection functions that reduce blue light and flicker to help minimize eye strain. The device also supports AI-based tools such as Google Gemini and Circle to Search.
The main camera uses a 50 MP sensor with AI enhancements to improve image quality in challenging lighting conditions. Built-in stabilization algorithms help reduce blur, producing sharper and more detailed photos and videos. A portrait mode adds background blur for a bokeh effect, while a night mode is available for low-light shooting. On the front, the phone is equipped with an 8 MP camera for selfies and video calls.
The device is available with either 128 GB or 256 GB of storage and comes in three colors: black, silver, and blue. As part of the global launch, POCO is offering the M7 at a discounted price through its official AliExpress store until August 27.
