During NVIDIA GTC, Lenovo introduced new Lenovo Hybrid AI Advantage solutions in collaboration with NVIDIA, which are aimed at accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence, reducing time to value, and achieving measurable business impact in personal, enterprise, and cloud environments.

The company is expanding the concept of hybrid AI, extending it from endpoints to data centers and large-scale cloud infrastructures. This allows for real-time data processing, increased efficiency of operations, and automation of processes in various industries.

With the development of AI, its role is changing from model training to operational decision-making support. Inference is becoming a key source of business value, and organizations need an infrastructure that can operate securely at all levels. According to the CIO Playbook 2026 study, 84% of companies plan to use AI in both on-premises or edge environments and in the cloud. This is driving demand for proven hybrid platforms capable of delivering production-scale insights.

New inference solutions, gigafactory systems based on Rubin architecture, and industry-specific agent AI tools are helping to move technologies from the development stage to practical application on a global scale. NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang emphasized that cooperation with Lenovo helps businesses to get a faster return on investment in AI.

AI development and inference – wherever you work

Lenovo is also bringing AI development and inference capabilities directly into the user’s work environment with a new generation of NVIDIA RTX Pro Blackwell mobile and desktop workstations. These include the ThinkPad P14s Gen 7, ThinkPad P16s Gen 5, and ThinkPad P1 Gen 9, as well as the ThinkStation P5 Gen 2, which supports up to two NVIDIA RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell Max-Q Workstation Edition GPUs.

The company also presented the AI Developer Device solution based on the ThinkStation PGX platform, capable of working with models with up to 200 billion parameters and providing performance of up to 1 petaflop for local inference. It is complemented by the Lenovo AI Developer toolkit, a full-stack solution with ready-made architectural templates for creating, scaling, and securing AI processes. Lenovo Imaging Services for Devices is also presented – pre-configured solutions that simplify deployment and reduce the burden on IT teams.

Production-ready AI platforms for real-time inference

Lenovo’s NVIDIA-accelerated AI servers and hybrid AI platforms are redefining the economics of enterprise AI. Lenovo’s new ThinkSystem and ThinkEdge solutions support real-time inference in retail, manufacturing, healthcare, sports, and smart cities. Customers such as Irene and Town of Cary are already using these systems to modernize processes and scale data-driven services.

The updated portfolio includes certified architectures with NVIDIA AI Enterprise integration. Among them are two Lenovo Hybrid AI platforms: one based on NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 for scalable computing and the other on NVIDIA B300 for enterprise model training. Also presented is a starter platform with NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell, which provides a threefold increase in video and data processing performance and up to a fourfold increase in content generation compared to NVIDIA L4.

The new solutions include the ThinkAgile HX650a with Nutanix Enterprise AI and Kubernetes Platform, as well as platforms with Cloudian for scalable data workflows and Veeam Kasten for securing Kubernetes environments. A global partnership with IBM Technology Lifecycle Services further facilitates the implementation of hybrid AI globally.

Lenovo AI Library expansion: scaling industry-specific AI solutions

Lenovo is also expanding the Lenovo AI Library to include new agent and physical AI solutions that integrate inference into workflows. In retail and sports, this includes agents to interact with customers and fans, and in manufacturing, solutions that combine robotics, edge-AI, and sensor systems to automate inspections, improve quality, and enhance safety.

Auto AI Box solutions bring AI computing to the edge of the network, and the Lenovo AI Innovators ecosystem, together with partners AiFi, RocketBoots, and Vaidio, provides turnkey solutions for cities, the public sector, and businesses.

Infrastructure for the next generation of AI clouds based on NVIDIA Rubin

Lenovo is also working on the next-generation infrastructure for AI clouds based on the NVIDIA Rubin architecture. As a launch partner of the NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 platform, the company offers liquid-cooled systems that provide up to ten times the throughput and lower token processing costs. NVIDIA HGX Rubin NVL8 systems and cooperation with NScale for large-scale deployments are also presented.
