Thanks to the efforts of Evan Blass, one of the most respected mobile industry insiders, the web has been rocked by extremely clear renders of the upcoming Motorola Razr 70, also known as the Razr (2026). Motorola plans to win the audience’s favor with two trump cards: balanced value and exceptional visual style. The released images demonstrate four unique color variants, where each color is accompanied by a special texture. Pantone Sporting Green has a carbon fiber imitation coating, Pantone Hematite in gray tones stands out with a sophisticated fabric texture, Pantone Violet Ice attracts attention with a hypnotic wavy pattern, and the fourth variation impresses with an unusual marble finish that looks truly exotic.
Compared to the Galaxy Flip 7 palette, the Motorola Razr 70 color schemes seem much bolder and more expressive. Against the background of the Razr 70’s textured surfaces, Samsung’s offerings look a bit mundane, which may push fans of the Korean brand to raise their expectations of the next generation of their devices. It is worth noting that the Motorola Razr (2026) will at least be as good as its main competitor in terms of build quality and main display size, although it probably won’t be able to surpass it in terms of processor performance or external screen size.
The technical equipment of the Razr 70 is no longer a secret thanks to the certification of the Chinese regulator. The smartphone will feature a 6.9-inch OLED matrix with a resolution of 2640×1080 pixels and a 3.63-inch secondary screen. There is a wide range of memory configurations: from 8 to 18 GB of RAM and from 128 GB to 1 TB of storage, although the maximum capacities may remain exclusive to China.
Photo capabilities are represented by two 50-megapixel main sensors and a 32-megapixel front camera. The battery capacity of 4500 mAh with support for 33-watt charging will be responsible for autonomy. The device will be 7.2 mm thick when deployed and weigh 188 g. It will be powered by an octa-core processor with a frequency of 2.75 GHz.
As for the financial issue and release date, there is no official data yet. However, given the tendency for mobile equipment to become more expensive in 2026, it can be assumed that the price of the Razr (2026) in the US will start at $800 for the 8/256 GB version. This is higher than the initial cost of last year’s model, but still much more attractive than the price tag of the Galaxy Flip 7. The new product is expected to make its debut in the coming weeks, which will allow Motorola to strengthen its position in the global market of foldable devices.
