At CES 2026, NVIDIA presented a large-scale package of technological updates covering game graphics, displays, cloud gaming, and more. The main event was the premiere of DLSS 4.5 and the launch of monitors with G-SYNC Pulsar.

In addition, the company talked about the development of the RTX Remix platform, new NVIDIA ACE integrations, updates to the NVIDIA App, and announced more devices and ways to play with GeForce NOW and updates to RTX AI that accelerate 4K video creation on PCs.

NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 announcement

Since its debut at CES 2025, DLSS 4 has set a new benchmark for AI rendering with Super Resolution and Multi Frame Generation. Over the year, the technology has been supported in more than 250 games and applications, making it the fastest-adopted NVIDIA graphics solution in history. Now, at CES 2026, the company has raised the bar even higher with DLSS 4.5, which adds Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and 6X Multi Frame Generation mode.

The new version of the system is capable of generating up to five additional frames for every frame played compared to traditional methods, dynamically increasing performance and delivering games at over 240 frames per second with path tracing using GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards. This provides unprecedented smoothness and stability of the image. At the same time, DLSS 4.5 received a second-generation Transformer model for Super Resolution, which increases the picture quality to a new level in more than 400 GeForce RTX-based games and applications.

DLSS 4 will appear in 007 First Light, Phantom Blade Zero, PRAGMATA, and more

Over the year, the DLSS 4 ecosystem has grown significantly: while at launch Multi Frame Generation support was available in 75 projects, there are now more than 250, including the most popular games of 2025 such as ARC Raiders, Battlefield 6, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and Where Winds Meet. At the same time, NVIDIA announced updates for future releases.

The PC version of 007 First Light will get DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, and PRAGMATA will get path tracing and DLSS 4. Resident Evil Requiem will be released in late February with support for path tracing and DLSS 4, Phantom Blade Zero will launch in September with ray tracing and DLSS acceleration, and a number of other projects will also receive Multi Frame Generation. NVIDIA pays special attention to the development of AI characters: NVIDIA ACE demonstrations show how artificial intelligence helps players interact with complex game systems.

NVIDIA RTX Remix update

NVIDIA’s RTX Remix platform, designed to reimagine classic games with modern ray tracing, has also received an update. The new RTX Remix Logic system, which will be available in the NVIDIA App, will make RTX Remix modifications visually responsive to instant game actions.

More than 900 customizable parameters make it possible to dynamically change lighting and graphics without access to the source code or game engine. This allows you to modernize more than 165 classic games without interfering with their internal architecture.

Announcing NVIDIA G-SYNC monitors with Pulsar and Ambient Adaptive

A separate announcement was the introduction of monitors with G-SYNC Pulsar, which open up a new generation of variable refresh rate technology. These displays provide extraordinary motion clarity with an effective smoothness of over 1000 Hz. Gamers no longer have to choose between tearing up the screen and a responsive gameplay experience.

NVIDIA CES 2026

G-SYNC Pulsar delivers smooth, lag-free motion and sets a new standard for image clarity and realism. G-SYNC Pulsar displays from Acer, AOC, ASUS, and MSI will be available starting January 7. Each of the debut G-SYNC Pulsar displays will also include the new G-SYNC Ambient Adaptive technology, which allows you to adjust color temperature and brightness for optimal viewing at any time of the day.

NVIDIA App updates

The company has announced an update to the NVIDIA App, adding support for DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution, a new GeForce Game Ready Driver, and enhanced system features. The app replaces the classic Control Panel, offering convenient tools for displays, Advanced Optimus laptop optimization, and system stability diagnostics. The updated driver also expands G-SYNC Compatible support to dozens of new displays, including LG and Samsung 2026 TVs, and NVIDIA Broadcast gets improved Virtual Key Light for a wider range of graphics cards.

New GeForce NOW apps and catalog expansion

In the cloud gaming space, GeForce NOW is expanding to new platforms with native Linux and Amazon Fire TV PC apps that address the most popular community demands. This expands access to GeForce RTX 5080-class performance through the GeForce NOW cloud service, enabling the highest quality PC gaming experience to be enjoyed on more devices and platforms.

The service’s catalog continues to grow to over 4,500 games, including upcoming AAA releases that will be available in the cloud at the same time as PC versions, including 007 First Light, Active Matter, Resident Evil Requiem, and Crimson Desert.
