Kyiv hosted the first official show in Ukraine of the RugOne brand, which operates in the segment of rugged mobile devices. This segment is evolving rapidly: from a niche choice for enthusiasts, it is turning into a full-fledged working tool. During the event, two flagship models of the brand – Xever 7 and Xever 7 Pro – were presented to the Ukrainian market.
The presentation was held in the format of live testing, during which RugOne smartphones were put to the test: the shock resistance of the case, tightness and correct operation underwater were checked.

The exclusive distributor of RugOne in Ukraine is Robotics Distribution, which is among the top ten IT distributors in the country and part of the DroneUA group of companies. The international premiere of the brand took place in the fall of 2025 at IFA, where RugOne debuted two ruggedized smartphones: Xever 7 and Xever 7 Pro.
“RugOne is an innovative development created specifically for outdoor communication and users who go on a new adventure every day,” said RugOne Ukraine brand manager Sergiy Silin during the presentation in Kyiv. – ” Xever 7 and Xever 7 Pro are not just smartphones, they are a full-fledged piece of equipment for travelers, climbers, fishermen and everyone who discovers this world.

The event was supported by Robotics Distribution partner Citrus. Representatives of the retailer emphasized that it is important for them not only to sell devices but also to demonstrate their real capabilities. Category Manager of Citrus’ commercial department Oleksandr Kyslyy emphasized the value of live testing, which allows customers to see the benefits of secure smartphones with their own eyes. Xever 7 and Xever 7 Pro have demonstrated durability, ability to withstand extreme loads and full water resistance in real-world conditions.

RugOne devices belong to the class of professional rugged smartphones. Their body is made of a combination of impact-resistant polymer and metal elements, which provides high structural rigidity without excessive weight gain. The weight of the smartphones is 325 g, which is a balanced indicator for this class, allowing you to comfortably use the device for a long time. The protective glass is highly scratch resistant and designed for intensive use.
Xever 7 and Xever 7 Pro are IP68 and IP69K certified and comply with the military standard MIL-STD-810H. This guarantees resistance not only to immersion in water to a depth of 2 meters for 30 minutes, but also to vibrations, temperature extremes and mechanical stresses typical of industrial, field and extreme conditions.

The smartphones’ functionality goes beyond standard user scenarios. The devices are equipped with cameras with advanced stabilization algorithms, and the Xever 7 Pro version also has a thermal imaging module. This expands the scope of applications from night surveillance and technical diagnostics to search and rescue operations and engineering tasks.
“Ruggedness is the trend of the next few years. At the same time, protective technologies are not inferior to innovations. In RugOne smartphones, we see a premium camera with stabilization functions and thermal imaging capabilities that literally allow you to see at night,” added Sergiy Silin. – AI tools that become daily assistants from household users to specialists in the fields of construction, geodesy, etc.
