Tablets have an advantage over smartphones in the form of a larger screen, so it’s easier to watch videos, read texts, or scroll through social media. But they are often more vulnerable to water, dust, and various force majeure events. Blackview decided to fix this and developed the MEGA 12 tablet with full IP69K certification. It offers a large screen, high battery life, Android 16, and the ability to take it with you on nature, vacation, or business trips.
Blackview MEGA 12 is IP69K certified, which means it is completely water and dust resistant. The tablet can withstand submersion in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes, water jets under a pressure of up to 100 bar, 24-hour rain and fog, hot water splashes up to 85 °C, and exposure to fine dust particles. It continues to work in places where conventional tablets can be accidentally damaged and broken: in the kitchen, bathroom, camping or fishing, in the garden or on a construction site. At the same time, the case is only 8.2 mm thick and weighs 690 g.
The tablet features a large 12.2-inch 2.4K display with an industry-record 94.2% screen-to-body ratio, providing about 7% more usable space than conventional models. The 120Hz intelligent refresh rate makes scrolling smooth, and Widevine L1 support allows you to watch 1080p content on streaming platforms. Four Smart-K Box speakers along with TÜV SÜD certification, which promises reduced blue light, ensure a comfortable viewing experience.

MEGA 12 supports the new PC Mode 3.0 and updated Split Screen 2.0, which transforms its screen into a PC-style workspace. The pre-installed WPS office suite supports editing Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF documents, and Notebook 2.0 allows you to work with handwritten notes, voice recordings and images. A magnetic keyboard, mouse, stylus, headphones, and a protective glass are included. Integrated Hi Doki AI improves efficiency by helping with writing, studying, and brief file analysis.
The 50-megapixel main camera with Samsung JN1 sensor provides crisp document scanning, educational materials, and casual photos throughout the day, while the 13-megapixel front-facing camera enhances video calls. With support for 2K video recording, Google Lens integration, and ImageX AI editing tools, the camera becomes an even more useful tool with image recognition, translation, and automatic image enhancement.
Performance is driven by a 5G-enabled 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor that delivers smooth performance and high energy efficiency. The tablet is equipped with up to 48 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 flash memory, and an advanced cooling system. The 10,000 mAh battery with energy-saving function extends daily operating time by up to 23% and supports fast charging with 55W of power.

The MEGA 12 runs on DokeOS_P 5.0, integrating Doke AI 2.0 with a combination of DeepSeek-R1, ChatGPT-4o mini, and Gemini 2.0 Flash models. AI features include text creation, image processing, video and music generation, as well as system enhancements for smoother, more personalized and secure experiences. The tablet supports two 5G SIM cards, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 6E, and the manufacturer guarantees three years of Android updates.
Blackview MEGA 12 is scheduled to be launched on January 12. The premiere will take place in the official Blackview store on AliExpress, and on the occasion of the global launch, the device will be available at a 55% discount – for $299.99 instead of $659.98. In addition, after the launch, the store will offer coupons and gifts, but their number will be limited. At the same time, there will be a special offer for the Blackview X30 smartwatch, which can also be purchased at a special price for the first buyers of $21.99.
