In the battle for a clear mind and sharp memory, the first casualty is often… a clean floor. Much like the “broken windows” theory in sociology, chaos and disorder tend to start with small, visible details – like the first thing you notice when taking off your shoes after coming home. The MOVA X4 Pro vacuum cleaner isn’t the only tool for addressing this, but it certainly plays a role.

However, this model stands out as one of the more well-rounded options on the market in terms of ease of use, user comfort, and overall efficiency – even considering its price point.

History of creation
MOVA is a relatively new brand, founded in 2024, but it has already earned several notable awards and expanded into markets across North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. One thing worth mentioning – the brand’s website can be a bit tricky to find due to the common nature of the name, which doesn’t always play well with search engines. So here’s the direct link in case anyone needs it:
Price and package contents
What’s the price? At the time of writing, it’s around $700. However, until the end of July, it’s expected to stay closer to $500. For many, that’s a steep cost – no doubt about it. But it’s worth keeping something in mind, and this applies broadly: the question isn’t how much the vacuum costs, but what it offers in return. And more importantly, whether you actually need those features.

A premium vacuum comes with a premium unboxing experience. The MOVA X4 Pro arrives disassembled, with components packed separately: the main motor unit, handle, charging base, a spare internal brush, a replacement filter, a cleaning brush, floor cleaning solution, and of course, a user manual.

MOVA X4 Pro appearance
So, three things can justify the X4 Pro’s price: design, usability, and versatility.
Starting with design – the vacuum makes a clear statement that it’s not your average appliance. Most of the body is finished in matte plastic with a vintage-inspired metallic color scheme. Where that finish isn’t used, you’ll find black accents in either glossy or matte plastic.

One standout feature is the LED display located on the upper module. It’s clearly visible, easy to read, and even performs well on camera with minimal flicker – an indication of solid display quality.
Ease of use
When it comes to convenience, the fact that it’s a cordless vacuum with a charging dock already makes a difference. No more dealing with tangled cords or hunting through closets to find your vacuum – something many of us are still familiar with. The MOVA X4 Pro stays in one place, always charged and ready to use.

Why do I say “always clean”? Because the charging dock isn’t just for power – it also cleans the roller brush during charging. This means your main task is simply emptying the used water tank and refilling the clean water reservoir.

The brush inside the charging dock is cleaned with water heated to nearly 100°C and dried with hot air at around 90°C. This process helps keep the brush as clean as possible.

The design of the MOVA X4 Pro is also quite versatile. First, the handle is ergonomic for comfortable use. Second, the vacuum can tilt fully downward – up to 180° – allowing it to clean floors under furniture with as little as 128 mm of clearance. Not every vacuum with an external hose can manage that, as you can imagine.

In terms of noise, despite a suction power of 20,000 Pa, the vacuum isn’t overly loud. Battery life is also adequate – one charge provides about 45 minutes of use in standard mode, which is automatic and AI-driven.

It can run for up to 35 minutes in turbo mode or about 25 minutes during wet cleaning, with a full recharge taking a maximum of four hours. Beyond that, the cordless design is simply convenient – especially during power outages, when you can still clean without relying on a plug.

And it’s quick to start – getting the vacuum ready takes just seconds. You simply take it off the dock, turn it on, and begin cleaning. The clean water tank holds 760 ml, which is enough for at least one full wet cleaning session.
Versatility
The MOVA X4 Pro offers four operating modes. The standard mode is a versatile AI-powered setting that automatically adjusts suction power and activates wet cleaning when needed. The second mode is designed for liquid suction without engaging the brush. Finally, the ultra mode delivers maximum motor power for deep cleaning tasks.

The final mode, which could be a deciding factor for some, is wet cleaning with hot water combined with a SpotHeat function designed to tackle stubborn stains. By pressing a trigger on the handle, the vacuum sprays water onto the floor ahead, allowing you to clean those areas more effectively as you vacuum over them.

This feature might seem unusual or unnecessary to most, but if, like me, your apartment has bare tile floors that are slightly porous and get dirty quickly – not linoleum, laminate, or concrete – then this vacuum can be a real game-changer.

Add to that the Dual Edge feature, which allows the brush to reach right up to sharp corners without leaving gaps. There’s also a hair-trimming module built into the unit – if long hairs get sucked in, integrated blades cut them to prevent tangling on the roller. On top of that, a green LED light enhances visibility during cleaning.

The LED light only turns on when the vacuum is lying flat and in SpotHeat mode; it can’t be activated manually. This is arguably one of the model’s biggest drawbacks. On the other hand, it’s a minor issue – dust tends to accumulate quickly, and you can usually tell whether stains have been cleaned without the need for laser lighting.
Conclusions
The main takeaway about the MOVA X4 Pro is that your apartment likely won’t be this clean even right after moving in, compared to after using this vacuum. The price is certainly on the higher side, but the features justify the cost. With solid battery life, ease of use, compact design, intelligent cleaning modes, and a thorough accessory package, it’s hard not to recommend the X4 Pro – assuming it fits your budget.
