Next week will be a great event for Škoda Auto and all fans of the brand. The company will finally hold the official presentation of its all-new electric SUV crossover, the Škoda Epiq, in Zurich. And for fans of the brand from all over the world, we have good news – you can watch this event online. The broadcast will be available on Škoda’s official YouTube channel as well as on the Škoda Storyboard platform.

Of course, the automaker can’t help but stir up interest. Recently, the company shared sketches of the Epiq’s front cabin, and now it offers a short teaser. It shows the model’s characteristic T-shaped light signature.

The teaser emphasizes the company’s ambitious goal of creating an affordable family electric car that looks more expensive than one would expect from a price of €26,000. As we wrote earlier, the model is based on the Modern Solid design concept. In the cabin, a compact 5.3-inch display with an unusual hexagonal shape will be located in front of the driver. The steering wheel has a two-spoke design, which not only adds a modern look but also improves the view of the display in front of the driver. In the center of the dashboard is a 13-inch display for multimedia and navigation.

The Epiq will be quite compact, but functional at the same time – the electric car will have a significant space for luggage, which is important for family trips. The trunk volume is 475 liters. And if you need to transport large items, such as a bicycle or boxes during a move, the rear seats can be folded down to increase the space to 1344 liters.

Customers will be offered three versions of the Epiq. The base model will be the Epiq 35 with a 38.5 kWh battery and an 85 kW electric motor. Its range will be about 315 km. The next version, the Škoda Epiq 40, will use the same battery and have a similar range of 315 km, but it will be equipped with a more powerful 99 kW electric motor. The most powerful version, the Epiq 55, will have a 55 kWh battery and a 155 kW motor. Its range will increase to 430 km on a single charge.
