Ukrainian studio Fire Sparrow has announced a new roguelike action game with a top-down view called Sealbreakers, where you can collect a new unique melee style every time you run. The game will be available on PC and consoles, and in it you need to save the world, but only with your own fists, even without firearms.
Players will take on the role of a knight of the ancient brotherhood, the Order of the Faceless, where the art of hand-to-hand combat has been perfected for centuries. After a crushing defeat, the Order vowed never to take up arms again. That is why the way to restore honor is through fists, endurance and skill. The main goal of the hero is to defeat the four immortal tyrants who distorted the Seals of Chaos.

Each race in Sealbreakers begins with a basic set of fighting techniques, but with each victory, the player discovers new techniques. Gradually, a unique fighting style is formed, which is developed in a new way each time and does not repeat between runs. It is this unpredictability that makes each attempt special.
The world of Sealbreakers is a place where time and space have broken down. Here, medieval motifs merge with cyberpunk dystopia, and epochs are layered on top of each other. Players will fight their way with their fists from a fantastic monastery on top of a mountain to the cold offices of a megacorporation that is swallowing up the city of the future block by block.

The gameplay is centered on the principle of complete abandonment of weapons. The hero beats, breaks, throws enemies through walls, and uses his own body as the main tool of survival. The Order’s vow forbids any weapons, but the game constantly reminds us that they are not needed here. Punching smoothly turns into throwing, throwing into finishing, and the right rhythm turns the fight into a continuous combo.

Rogue progression plays a key role in Sealbreakers. Between runs, new styles and upgrades are unlocked that allow you to hit harder, move faster, and stay in the fight longer. Four Chaos Sealbreakers stand in the way of the player – former defenders of the world who have become immortal tyrants. Each encounter with such a boss is a real test of skill, reaction, and the ability to read the battle.

The debut trailer shows only the starting locations, but it will be much more interesting. And stranger. So add the game to your Steam wishlist to follow the development process.
