Motorola announces a new generation of moto g smartphones

Motorola has introduced several new products in the moto g series. These are the moto g17 and moto g17 power models, as well as the moto g67 and moto g77. The first two smartphones are representatives of the affordable segment and will appeal to those who want a modern gadget but have a limited budget. Motorola moto g67 and moto g77 smartphones represent the mid-range segment.

The moto g17 power and moto g17 models have an advanced camera system that sets them apart in their price segment. The 50 megapixel main module with Sony LYTIA 600 sensor is complemented by a 5 megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. A 32 megapixel front camera is provided for selfies.

The devices are powered by an 8-core MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme processor and have 8 GB of RAM with the ability to expand it by 16 GB using the RAM Boost feature. 256 GB of flash storage is enough for photos, videos, and applications.

Motorola has traditionally paid special attention to battery life. Moto g17 power is equipped with a 6000 mAh battery, while moto g17 has a 5200 mAh battery. TurboPower support provides fast charging with a power of 30 W in the power version and 18 W in the base model. The smartphones support technology that helps to preserve battery life.

Both models have a 6.72-inch Full HD display and stereo speakers with Volume Boost and Dolby Atmos support. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and the cases comply with the IP64 standard, which provides protection against dust and splashes. In addition, the smartphones have a premium finish and are available in Pantone colors: Evening Blue, Alaskan Blue, and Bordeaux.

At the same time, Motorola announced the debut of the moto g77 and moto g67 models, which raise the bar in the mid-range segment. Thus, the moto g77 is the first smartphone in the lineup with a 108 megapixel camera and a threefold zoom, which allows you to take pictures with high detail. Moto g67 is equipped with a 50 megapixel Sony LYTIA 600 main module with Quad Pixel technology. Both smartphones have an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 32-megapixel front camera, as well as moto ai features.

The smartphones have 6.78-inch Extreme AMOLED displays with refresh rates up to 120 Hz, which are protected by durable Gorilla Glass 7i. The smartphones demonstrate twice the drop and scratch resistance compared to the previous generation, operate stably at temperatures from -20°C to 60°C, comply with MIL-STD-810H and are IP64 certified. They also feature a premium body coating and come in a variety of Pantone colors:

• moto g77 – Shaded Spruce and Black Olive
• moto g67 – Arctic Seal and Nile.

Performance is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processors in the moto g67 and Dimensity 6400 in the moto g77, combined with up to 12 GB of RAM. Flash storage capacity reaches 256 GB in the moto g67 and 512 GB in the moto g77. The 5200 mAh battery will last all day and supports 30W fast charging. The stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res certification provide enhanced sound quality.

All new Motorola models have a set of features aimed at user convenience and safety. The Hello UX shell and Moto Secure system allow you to personalize your smartphone and protect your personal data. Integration with Google Gemini in Google Chat opens up new opportunities for productivity. The Circle to Search feature allows you to quickly find any items on the screen by simply highlighting them.
