The Ukrainian studio RetroStyle Games has released the first public demo of the cooperative horror Last Pirates: Die Together. The demo release took place a month after the open playtest that took place in April and gathered more than 16 thousand unique players. However, the developers promise that the demo will offer more content, including new maps, poker between rounds, scarier enemies, costumes with anime references, etc.
In Last Pirates: Die Together sees a team of four players exploring a dangerous island, searching for loot and trying to survive to get back to the ship. Players will have to face monsters, traps, and, perhaps worst of all, their own clumsiness, as the physics of elastic arms quickly turn any interaction between characters into chaos.

The demo significantly expands the amount of content available to players. The developers have added a progression system between rounds with the ability to buy items, an expanded map with new locations, new enemies, including a ghostly shark that can pass through walls, as well as new weapons, updated gun mechanics, and costumes with pop culture references.
The demo is already available for download on the game’s Steam page. The full release of Last Pirates: Die Together is scheduled for Q3 2026.

One of the main features of the game will be a four-player cooperative where you need to act in a coordinated manner, communicate and rescue each other, helping the captain to gain wealth. The game also requires collecting gold and other valuables and then escaping from the island.

The developers put a special emphasis on the physics of interaction. Long elastic arms of the characters allow them to grab objects, pull them and break them, creating chaotic and funny situations during the passage. Players will also have to survive among traps, monsters, and other evil spirits. In critical situations, the developers advise to hide to avoid danger.
