In addition, the 6v6 motion-based shooter Empulse is launching with DLSS support, and one of Steam’s hits, the underwater survival adventure game Subnautica 2, has received native support for DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution.

Mortal Shell II from Cold Symmetry and Playstack builds on the ideas of the original soulslike game, offering players dynamic combat without strict limitations, a deeper weapon system with extensive upgrade options, and an emphasis on free-roaming exploration of the world. This action RPG offers a captivating open world – vast yet compact – that allows players to gradually uncover unique landscapes and hidden locations.

The full release is scheduled for this year, but the developer is already inviting players to join the Mortal Shell II open beta and gain access to the first three hours of gameplay, from the prologue to the first region. Owners of GeForce RTX graphics cards will have access to DLSS Super Resolution, Multi Frame Generation, as well as ray tracing for reflections and global illumination. Players are also encouraged to share their feedback so the studio can refine the game before release.

Frogwares’ The Sinking City 2 is set in a world inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft, in 1920s America and the infamous city of Arkham. Due to a supernatural flood, most residents were forced to leave the city, leaving only its craziest inhabitants and terrifying supernatural creatures on its streets.

Players will take on the role of occult adventurer Calvin Rafferty, whose reckless actions have led to devastating consequences. The game is set to release on August 18, but during the Steam Festival, Frogwares offered players an hour-long demo that introduces the new protagonist and lets you begin uncovering the reasons behind his tragic and complex journey to the flooded, monster-infested Arkham. In the demo for The Sinking City 2, GeForce RTX owners can enable DLSS Super Resolution and Multi Frame Generation to boost performance and improve image quality.

Empulse from 1047 Games is a dynamic 6v6 online shooter launching in Early Access on June 24. Players will be able to run back and forth on walls, use a grappling hook for quick travel, perform jumps with Holojumps, and alter surfaces with P.A.I.N.T. bombs to gain a tactical advantage.

Each district of Freehold offers a variety of surfaces, vertical level design, and routes to create seamless movement and develop your own playstyle. GeForce RTX owners can use DLSS Dynamic Multi-Frame Generation and Super Resolution to boost performance and graphics quality, as well as NVIDIA Reflex to reduce input lag, which can give them an edge in fast-paced multiplayer matches.

Subnautica 2 by Unknown Worlds is an underwater survival adventure game set on a completely new alien planet. Following a prolonged conflict, the Alterra Corporation offers the player a chance to start a new life. However, an unforeseen event occurs during the CICADA colonial ship’s journey to its new home. The ship’s artificial intelligence insists on continuing the mission, but the player finds themselves in extremely challenging conditions and is forced to fight for survival.
Subnautica 2 was released in early access in May and quickly sold millions of copies. At launch, the game already supported DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation, and users could manually enable the latest models via the NVIDIA app to improve image quality and performance. Now, Subnautica 2 has added native support for the latest DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution feature, providing GeForce RTX owners with the highest possible image quality and higher frame rates.
