ViewSonic Corp. has unveiled its new LSD500-4K laser projector with a native resolution of 4K Ultra HD (3840×2160) and a brightness of 5,000 ANSI lumens. The model uses advanced laser-phosphor technology, which combines high performance with features that simplify installation for a wide range of use cases. In particular, the projector features a special Golf Mode to optimize color accuracy.

The ViewSonic LSD500-4K stands out for its wide range of applications in educational institutions, business, corporate and retail environments, as well as in the home entertainment sector. It is a lamp-free projector with minimal maintenance requirements, designed to reproduce bright images and rich colors even in the presence of ambient light. Thanks to advanced laser-phosphor technology, the LSD500-4K can operate for up to 30,000 hours without maintenance, depending on the usage scenario. Compared to traditional lamp-based models, the LSD500-4K reduces energy consumption by up to 49%.

He added that the special Golf Mode, designed for golf enthusiasts, optimizes color accuracy by enhancing blue and green hues, making fairways and putting greens look as realistic as possible.
To adapt to different environments, the LSD500-4K is equipped with a 1.6× optical zoom, providing high placement flexibility. The 360-degree projection feature allows the device to be mounted on the ceiling or floor, as well as used in portrait orientation. The LSD500-4K features a sealed optical unit with an IP6X rating, which prevents dust from entering and ensures stable image quality without the need for a filter.

The projector supports comprehensive system integration with leading enterprise AV control systems and centralized IT ecosystems. Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.0 ports with HDCP 2.3 support, a USB-A 2.0 port (5 V/1.5 A), an RJ45 LAN port, an RS232 port, and a 3.5 mm audio output.
